Planet Sox Holdings LLC is a leading manufacturer & importer of private label branded and character family socks and footwear.

Elie Levy; President of Planet Sox Holdings LLC, founded the company formally known as E&E Hosiery Inc. in 1994 at the age of 24.

The company started as a domestic manufacturer of family socks. In 1997, as the market demanded the company expanded its production base; importing socks from Taiwan, Korea, China and Turkey.

The “Planet Sox” brand was introduced in 1997 and help propel the company into the spot light as an important designer, importer and resource of fashion socks, constantly written up in magazines such as Seventeen, Teen People, and Elle girl.

In 2001 the company extended its line into other products such as Slippers, Flip flops, Fleece Blankets, Pillows & Infant Booties. “In February 2008”, the company sold off it’s Bath & Home divisions to focus on it’s growing Sock and Flip flop business, Becoming an important resource for major retailers.

Since that time we have had many great achievements. We are the proud makers of two very hot & successful brands; Candy Girl ® our junior line and Planet Sox ® our contemporary line. We have a stable of company owned brands that are exclusive to certain retailers or programs, such as Love Bug ®, Uber Girl ™, Details by eeh ® and Hip Flops ®. Recently we expanded our product assortment into Character Socks, Flip Flops, Slipper socks & Crib shoes with licenses such as Dora the Explorer, Barbie, Princess, Tinkerbell, Cars, Spongebob, Mickey & co, Hot Wheels, Care Bears and Clone Wars, just to name a few.

Our Global headquarters are based in New York City. We have 12 in house Designers, 9 in house Salesreps, 8 in house Production specialists, 2 retail Planners. We also have 5 Sourcing/QC/Production people in our office in Ningbo, China.

Our distribution has expanded to over 10,000 doors in the USA & Canada into such chains as, Wal Mart, Sears, Payless ShoeSource, Gottchalks, Meijers, Mervyns, Shopko, JC Penney, K mart, Costco, SRI, Goodys, Shoe Show, Dollar General, Family Dollar, Claries, Limited Too, Target, Spencer’s Gift, Loblaw’s & Wal Mart Canada to name a few.

Our product are sold in fine Department stores, Club, Specialty and Mass stores through out the United States & Canada as well as in; Korea, Taiwan, Australia, Mexico, Dubai, Egypt, Japan and China.

In January 2008, Creo Capital Partners, LLC purchased a majority stake in Planet Sox.
